• Kathryn M. Hatch, M.D. joins Talamo Laser Eye Consultants We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kathryn Hatch will join our practice effective July 2008. Dr. Hatch is a graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Vermont Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology residency at New York University/Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital and a cornea fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. In addition to advanced training in refractive surgery techniques such as all-laser LASIK and advanced surface ablation, Dr. Hatch has expertise in selective endothelial transplantation (DSEK) as well as traditional corneal transplant techniques. • American Academy of Ophthalmology recognizes Jonathan H. Talamo, MD with the Senior Achievement Award. The achievement awards program recognizes individuals for their contributions to the Academy based solely on a cumulative point system. Points are earned through participation in the Annual Meeting (i.e., Course Instructor, Scientific and Poster Presenter, Paper, Video/Film Producer), or other areas of service to the academy such as councilors, representatives, committee members, authors, Co-authors, Reviewers of Academy materials, and support of Advocacy efforts. Individuals who have accumulated thirty points receive the Senior Achievement Award.
