The Schwartz Center was created by Kenneth B. Schwartz, a successful healthcare attorney who succumbed to lung cancer in 1995. He founded this organization as a place to support and advance compassionate health care in which caregivers, patients and their families relate to one another in a way that provides hope to the patient, support to the caregiver and sustenance to the healing process.
