Dr. Jonathan H. Talamo's clinical team includes Dr. Kathryn M. Hatch, Dr. Karen L. Zar and a group of experienced, talented, caring office and operating room personnel whose principal goal is to make your visit with us as informative, pleasant and as stress-free as possible.
Karen L. Zar, O.D.,
is a graduate of the Rand Afrikaans University, where she received honors in Low Visionand Ocular Pathology. As a South African native, Dr. Zar worked as a licensed optometrist with four years of clinical experience. Upon relocation to the United States, Dr. Zar pursued a Certificate of Advanced Study in Ocular Disease and Pharmacology from New England College of Optometry, where she graduated with the highest GPA in her class in the Advanced Standing International Program.
