Dr. Eric Putnoi attended Boston University School of Medicine where he graduated Cum Laude and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He completed an internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, followed by residency training at Boston Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Putnoi holds hospital appointments as a staff ophthalmologist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Newton, MA, Brockton Hospital, Brockton, MA, Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital, Brockton, MA and the Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA.
Dr. Putnoi joins Talamo Laser Eye Consultants as a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who has been working in private practice for more than five years as a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. His primary focus is on refractive cataract and refractive laser vision correction surgery. Dr. Putnoi employs the latest modalities for diagnosis and management of macular degeneration and is also trained in the most up-to-date technologies for the treatment and management of glaucoma and corneal surface disease.
Dr. Putnoi currently resides in the Greater Boston area with his wife and two daughters. His outside interests are focused on his family where he enjoys time with his wife and children exploring nature, traveling and discovering local restaurants.
